Well I've won the lottery and I am going to follow my dream and leave the USA again and open a cafe in the Phillipines. JUST KIDDING I did not win the lottery but I did stumble upon a great oppertunity. I was also seeking some intel on the locals as well as put some feelers out on some stuff.
The idea ...... Open a international cafe as well as help my parents home country.
The 3 BIG questions:
1. DOES ANYBODY KNOW OF OR PERSONALLY VOLUNTEERED IN THE PHILLIPINES FOR A MIN OF A MONTH? IF SO FOR What AND FOR HOW LONG?
2. WHAT SERVICES OR ATTACTIONS DO YOU LOOK FOR IN A HOSTILE / INTERNATIONAL HOT SPOT? (Hot enough to visited by lonley planet BUT NOT TOO HOT SO LOCALS ARE NOT WELCOME)
3. HOW MANY HOURS A DAY WOULD YOU VOLUNTEER YOUR TIME FOR FREE ROOM AND BOARD and transportation AS WELL AS A NON TOURIST EXPERIENCE. EXPOSED TO LOCALS ON THE GRASS ROOT LEVEL. WHERE YOU WOULD COMPETE AGAINST OTHER TRAVELLERS FOR CASH PRIZES AND OR FUTURE EXPENSE PAID TRAVEL OPPERTUNITIES AROUND THE WORLD? Think realality show without all the cameras and glitz.
