Hello Buddies,

There are many places claim that they are the dream destinations in the world. I am so curious about what the dream destination sounds like. Would you like to describe your dream destination? What is your dream destination look like? Sounds like?

Hello Wendy 😊

I dont know if I have a dream destination as such. Every country has something special about it.

If I was to choose a special destination it would be unusual and not widely touristed but tourised enough so people are somewhat used to foreigners and there are at least some facilities for tourists available.

Hello Mel, 😊

Thank you for sharing your idea. some friends of mine told me that this place is kind of small but as you mentioned should have enough tourists. the harmony between human and nature. This place hide somewhere and it is hard to find out. The place hasn't been modernized yet. What do you reckon?

by the way, would you mind give me an example what do you mean by unusual?

I recently went to Iran and Kyrgyzstan. Neither are heavily touristed but both have things like accomodation available to backpackers that is affordable.

My dream destination would also have easy to get visas or even better they would have no visa requirements. Also, they would have no Malaria and I would be able to drink the tap water. Iran and Kyrgyzstan dont have all these requirements but nothing is ever perfect.

Hi there,

Good question, Wendy. I have also kept thinking what would be my dream destination. Fo me it would be really difficult do decide where to go if I had only one opportunity to travel.

Now I know my dream destination is Cook islands!!!

hello Maija,

you are right, I even don't know where is my dream destination when I asked this question, and I still don't know it yet. This summer I went to Yubeng village in Yunnan China for my research, I was lost in a myriad of thoughts. The green, the snow mountain, the glacier, the stream, the quiet and peaceful, the friendly residents with simple lifestyle, but became greedy, money driven when they suddenly faced the tourists. I've got so complex feeling. I understand they desire and deserve to have good life, but just feel something missed there. The natural scenery and environment is not hard to find in the world, however people add meaning to the place and differentiate it from others. It doesn't matter what feeling I have, I want to back there again and again. 😊 Reply to this
