hi, im going to south america for a few months and considering the possibility of moving from there to asia and then back home to ireland

countries of interest:
australia, thailand, laos

i suppose a logical thing to do would be fly form chile to australia or new zealand then on to thailand

ultimatly it must lead back to ireland

i have looked for example on the LAN website and the prices are crazy high.... what is the best way to get good value for a trip like this? Reply to this

Hello Matt 😊

Have you tried searching for a Round the World plane ticket. I heard they tend to be better value for covering the distances you want to cover.

You could make just one stop in SE Asia. It is easy and inexpensive to get to Laos by bus from Thailand.

Hi - I have same itinery from belfast but seems as easy to fly home from South america say hi to some friends then bounce over to asia.. If you find a way of doing it for under £1500 would very much like to hear about it!

Best o luck!
