Would you be happy to answer a few questions about travel in general?
18 years ago, November 2nd 2005 No: 1 Msg: #3053
Hello!

I am a transport design student at Huddersfield University, currently in my final year. Ive decided on a theme for my major project which is the ‘Nomadic’ lifestyle. I wonder if anyone would be happy to answer a few questions?

Im interested in the reasons that people have for travelling around the world.

I see the project as being an aid to the traveller, what is it? Im not sure yet! But I hope your answers will help me shape the final product! It will of course be transport related, so land, sea and air will all be contemplated!

THE QUESTIONS.

What made you decide to travel?

What has given you second thoughts about travelling in the past?

Through your experience of travelling…what has proved to be the biggest obstacle on your journey?

Do any of you or would any of you contemplate travelling continuously throughout your life? Or do most of you see travelling as a journey to make once in a while or during certain parts of your life?

If there was one thing that would make travelling that little bit easier, what would it be?

In terms of accommodation, would you prefer your own accommodation that travels with you? Or would you still prefer hostels, camps, hotels etc..

Thankyou!!

Please let me know if you are unsure what the question is asking you, although feel free to write whatever you want.
