Vor einer Woche sind wir, Sebastian und ich, in Santa Cruz do Sul an der UNISC angekommen. Cristiana hat uns dann zu unseren Familien gefahren. Sebastian ist bei einer Familie mit einem 10jährigen (verwöhnten) Jungen untergekommen. Ich bin in einer Familie mit 2 bildhübschen und supernetten Mädels. Mit der Älteren teile ich mir ein Zimmer. Sie kann ein wenig engisch, daher ist die Kommunikation mit ihr recht gut. Die Jüngere (15J.) kann leider nur portugiesisch, versteht aber ganz gut, wenn wir uns auf deutsch unterhalten. Die Eltern können beide echt gut deutsch. Sie haben beide von klein auf deutsch in ihren Familien gesprochen. Vi ankommer til Porto Alegre om aftenen, efter et besøg på en dejlig strand Praia Rosa og en 6 timers køretur i bil på en brasiliansk motervej. Mauricio, Julies gæstfri ven fra Paris, som er Brasilianer, har nemlig også tilbudt os af overnatte et par nætter hos ham, inden vi tager videre til Montevideo. Han bor sammen med sin ven i en hyggelig lejlighed, og Julie og jeg får lov at sove på hans værelse. Han selv sover på en madres i stuen.. 13. okt. Mauricio tager på arbejde, og Julie og jeg tager i byen og vil opleve Porto Alegre - "Den glade havn". Det er en dejlig by, med mange træer. Hey Everyone! This is my first entry from Rio Grande, Brasil! So far all has been great; I feel like I've experienced a lot in just a week: I attended a traditional Brazilian BBQ, went to a soccer game, went to a noisy evangelical Church where people are healed(...), and partied really hard at a local pub. O último trecho dentro da Europa foi o que mais deu dor de cabeça. Se for feita uma cotação de preço entre Munique -- Barcelona preparem-se para um custo totalmente fora da tendência de custo baixo com passagem aérea em vôos internos. Gira em torno de EUR 120/pessoa, mesmo nas companhias low fare, o que chega à R$580,00. Quem deu a dica dessa vez foi o Fábio Mello. Visitaremos a colônia brasileira em Heidenhein (Fábio, Dani, barriga da Dani, Marco e Andressa) e por isso existem boas opções para o último trecho. Heidenhein fica perto de dois aeroportos secundários (Sttutgart, 100km) e Memmingen (esse sim, aeroporto secundaríssimo, 130km). Por Sttutgart, existem boas opções com a German Wings (www.germanwings.com). Não comprei dessa companhia por causa dos horários, que não fecharam. Porto Alegre - Day 28 I was originally going to include this entry at the bottom of my Uruguay blog, because I was only here for a couple of nights and didn’t think it required its own review. I arrived on the morning of the 8th Feb, in the poring rain, with no accommodation booked and no real knowledge of the city. The tourist information office at the bus station gave me the name of a hotel, which she assured me was cheap and located close to the centre of town. I was familiar with the name of the hotel, but seriously suspect it is not part of the chain…The Ritz…not quite!
