Basura

The good thing about hotels crowding the beach with their chairs and palapas was that each morning the hotel employees would clean up all the trash that had washed up on the beach overnight. Mom and I found few places where we had the beach to ourselves, and, except for in Puerto Morelos, it meant that we had to pick up all the basura washed up on the beach.
