Remnant of the Nazi Era

I believe this wall dates from the heydey of Nazism in the region. It was right below the People's Hotel site and near where the SS barracks stood. When we reached the car I was all for heading farther up the mountain to take a lap on The Rossfeld Toll Road, but a rather heavy snow squall began to make the roads at our elevation dangerous enough. We headed down the hillside and onwards toward Salzburg.

It was another night of hacking and wheezing on my part. I'm fine all day but as soon as I lay down I start coughing. It must be the down or feathers in the comforters.
