Conwy

Finally had a bit of a window without rain and/or high wind so sped aloft for a pix of walls, town and castle in the distant. Edward built his castles with resupply by sea in mind. Proved to be wise idea when rebellions occurred.

Made what Bird estimates to be our second longest drive yesterday (four hours in all including Costco) traveling from Stratford to Conwy in North Wales. Prime sights for us are medieval castles constructed by Edward I to subjugate the Welch, although there are other attractions, including a Roman Fort on the Irish Sea.
