Her holder man naturligvis til venstre!!!

Freja paa gulvet og Ida paa to saeder. Herligt!

We actually slept in today, 715pm. I guess we were finally getting used to the time difference from the states. Our flight was not until 135pm, so we had time to relax a little. After showering we headed to breakfast at our hotel. The receptionist said our breakfast was not included in our rate so if we wanted to eat the cost was $39 for the full buffet. I almost chocked considering the cost of the hotel was already extremely expensive. We ended up eating the buffet which was good, but not worth $39. We joked this would be our only meal for the day. After breakfast we returned to our room, packed and hung around. I sorted photos and worked on my travel blog, and Cindy’s Dad sorted his photos. Michael learned new words on ... read more

Relaxing times were had at the house sit in Bunbury over the past two weeks. The house was very comfortable and the dogs kept us entertained but also on our toes as we tried to keep them from barking and disturbing the entire street. Amazing how much noise two little creatures can make.....the sound of a feather landing on a pillow would set them off! Rachel also did a fantastic job giving one of the dogs medication that she clearly did not want to take. It was a little game in the end and the little pill would be strategically placed among some various meat pieces and then we sat with fingers crossed that it wasn't spat straight back out again. Being relatively close to the city we took the opportunity to have the van serviced ... read more

Hard work moving on after staying in a cracker of a place but all good things must come to an end. We slowly worked our way back down towards Bunbury in the morning (Friday) and stopped off in beautiful Pinjarra in the Peel Region. The town has the Murray River flowing through it down from the scenic hills and is full of history. We've pencilled this in for a stay at a later date. We made it through to Australind for lunch and stopped to enjoy the tranquil coastline yet again. After that we checked into another local caravan park. Polar opposites to the accommodation from the previous night but not too bad in the grand scheme of things. After an early dinner we hit the pavement again for another evening jog.....it's a whole lot easier ... read more

We thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience of living on a one acre property and doing all the tasks that went along with it for this house sit. Hats off to the couple who live here.....the gentleman is in his 80's and on average Rachel and I put in about three hours of work everyday to keep things running smoothly. All the animals needed to be fed and tended to and as previously stated there were dogs, cats, fish, birds and chickens. Walking the dogs was a relatively easy experience and kept us fit and healthy as the loop their owners take them on is roughly six kilometres. On the second or third day the pups decided to try and jump ship to freedom; however, after a lot of waiting and calling along the path by the ... read more
