I recently started at a new location at work in Bala Cynwood. This is a very expensive and busy neighborhood to live in. For example around the corner from my location there is a car dealer that sells Bently's (WOW!!!). That's $350,000.00 if u did not know. I really like the store I see Charles Barkley almost everday shopping there. The employees are great and the customers are nice as well. A lot of opportunity with developing the store and the staff but after some time the store will be running to 100% efficency.... read more

Hey mates and shielas, finally found a day to sit around and catch up with a couple of these entrys. Spent a solid 8 days in new york. Stayed at the YMCA which was a hostel but filled with all sorts from school kids, to people like me, all the way strange old dudes- including one who sat around the internet lounge with a bleeding stump where his foot used to be. Was my first time in new york so was happy just walking around. Started off just checking out central park the first day which was much bigger than i thought, took me 3 hours to walk around most of it. Went to ground zero, liberty island (with the statue of liberty), ellis island where all the immigrants showed up (even found a relative on ... read more

In 20 days, I will be 4000 miles south of where I am sitting right now. I guess that really gives me an idea of the magnitude of our planet. When you're driving and 800 miles is 17 hour drive, you sigh impatiently just thinking about it. On the other hand, the world is so small, when you put into context. To us, the world is so large. To our galaxy, our planet is pathetic. To the universe, our galaxy is puny. I guess it's just amazing what God has created. That sounds cliché but by golly its true. There is everyone's science lesson for the day. I hate being anxious. I have anxiety. I get anxious all the time, and I bite my finger nails, tap drum beats, wildly bounce my leg up and down, ... read more

Mom and Dad Shorty came out to Montana for a wild and roaring good time on July 18th-28th. Little did they know what kind of adventure they were getting themselves into! The day they rolled into town I was sitting on my neighbors porch discussing the repercussions of some construction worker who had just poured petrol-chemicals onto our street and hoping they would get washed down the drainage system of Bozeman, ahh the excitement had begun. I introduced my parents to my neighbors and took them out to eat at Old Chicago, a quaint little chain restaurant that perhaps some of you have heard of. The unfortunate part of this whole vacation of theirs is that I had to work (both teaching and at the Meat Shoppe -a local butcher/delicatessen here in town) and I would ... read more

When I was flying to Atlanta, GA in July 2006 I had a not great journey. 1) We showed up at the airport and found out our flight was canceled Which was going Toronto/Chicago/Atlanta 2) The got re protected on to another flt which was going Toronto/LaGuardia/Atlanta. 3) The fligh to Toronto to LaGuardia I felt fine 4) Once I was on the flight LaGuardia to Atlanta I had a good seat the window/aisle one seat side. As much as I loved the seat I wasnt prepared for what to come. 5) The flight was longer than the flight Toronto LaGuardia and it was a smaller aircraft. 6) Due to the aircraft and turbulance I felt horrable and got sick. To this point I dont not eat or drink on airplanes anymore due to that one ... read more

Ritz Carlton Downtown This is the hotel I stayed at while in Atlanta. It was a beautiful hotel, huge bed, desk, small sitting area, big bathroom. They have in the morning where they clean your room. Then later on they have turn down service wher they come in and they turn down the bed covers. I dont smoke the also have a smoking floor but who knows for how long and a gym. The dressing rooms are filled with a couple of rooms and all the supplies you would need to groom your self. They have a 5 star resturant which was yummy. Westin Peachtree This hotel is a big tower in which goes quite high round tower and the highest floor is a resturant. Going up they have a glass elevator which can be nervracking ... read more

It’s another beautiful day in paradise. Yesterday we flew around the entire island of Kauai in a 4 seat STOL aircraft. It was a fantastic flight as we passed over the red fields of coffee plantations and the bright green cane fields. We flew along the Na Pali coast which was breath taking. We passed over the beach where Captain Cook landed in 1778 near Kekaha. The whole experience was amazing. Our pilot, Corrie, was entertaining in that his historical accounts of the places we passed over we're lacking in detail but high in enthusiasm for the Island.... read more
