Vacation is great, but it really is fabulous to be home.
We are home. It was very nice to just relax at the KOA with Mom & Dad, but it is so nice to be home.

On the vacation, we saw license plates from 43/51 states/DC. Not surprisingly, we did not see Hawaii. We didn’t even see Nebraska or Massachusetts until we were within 100 miles of home. All the rest we saw in Canada or Alaska. We saw 10/13 Canadian provinces. The missing three were again not surprising: Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick and Nunavut. Are there even any roads leading out of Nunavut?

Our weather was very nearly perfect. We had rain many days, but it was nearly always while driving and didn’t change our plans at all. The high was 89o in Denali National Park (aside from the 90o when we left home), but most days were under 80o. The lows were 40s-50s, but our camper is rated to 0o, so that’s not a problem.

We are already planning our next great trip, but I won’t post until we actually decide dates.

Conversation of the Day (just after Liam woke up):
M: Do you know where this is?
L: Is this Minnesota?
M: Yes. Do you know what city this is?
L: Is it home?
M: Yup.
L: Let’s just go find the white house.

License Plates Noticed: TX, IL, ND, WI, MN, IA, MO, SK, NM, MB, ON, MA, NE

High Temperature: 77o (St Peter, MN)
Low Temperature: 69o (Alexandria, MN)

Miles: 296.4 for 8274 total miles

Total Time on the Road: 5:14
