Day 14

Today started around 8:30am. We got up found a shower easy enuf then came to the common kitchen to make our pancakes. Karen (happy ian?) decided against it, there batter was made up, all we had to do was put it on the hot plate and watch it cook. I made mine just smaller than a dinner plate and put maple syrup on it....mmmmm (some of the yanks were putting peanut butter on them...ewwwww!!
After this we went for a walk all around the harbour, gathered a few more blisters before making our way to the meeting point for our Tijuana Tour.
We got picked up at about 1:30PM and made our way south and over the USA/Mexico border.
My goodness as that an eye opener of a place! Dodgy bags, wallets, sunnies etc,anything u could think of that was fake (prada, gucci, D&G, coach etc) u could find here...and u gotta bargain! Karen bought5 handbags (no surprise there) 2 wallets and a pair of sunnies, i on the other hand restrained myself and settled for 1 lil Chanel bag. It was crazy down there tho, we had this guy come up to us and say that the doctor down the road could write us any script we wanted (karen thought about it, i on the other haand wanted to not make it onto boarder security!!)
It was so weird to see te prices down there coz like $10pasos was like 70c US... so u could get a meal at burger king for like $69paso hahaha...
We got free time down there for just over 2 hrs and met back at the bus at 5pm for our trip back to civilisation! It didnt take too long to cross back over the border then we got dropped back at our hostel (a lil sunburnt!)
We made our way up to Horton Plaza again for dinner, tonights meal was courtesy of Panda Express. This is a chinese place thats all across usa, very popular. We had mandarin Chicken (we only have lemon at home) and some fried rice, it was lovely!
We've been sitting back at the hostel ever since with our new found friend Loui from Houston, Texas. He came to borrow a quarter off us for milk and we couldn't get rid of him after that hahaha.
Off to Seaworld tomorrow, we've got swimming with the dolphins at 10:45am so will have to be up earlyish for our pancakes and catch 2 buses out there.

I like how you mention your new Chanel bag, not your new "Chanel" bag! (See what I did there?!) lol Aww, you gotta love Mexico! It's the fear of either being mugged / attacked or ripped off that makes it so special! hahaha Right hun, I'm guessing this shall be my last message until I arrive over the pond! *shakes just slightly with a mixture of fear and excitement!* So I shall see you in approx 36 hours! (ie: 4pm-ish Thurs!) lol I expect you to be waiting for me somewhere with red carpet and fanfares k?! hehe *hugs loads* x x

Much happier, thanks mate. LOL Glad you girls are having a good time. Funny Karen buying 5 bags. Cracks me up...where is she going to put all that stuff? Hey why no pictures this time? When you went to Europe could see your photos. Checked out some on Facebook....glad you girls look fit and healthy and happy. Enjoy mate.
