Dolphin Kiss
Swimming with the Dolphins at Sea World Day 15 started kinda rushed, we got up, had showers, had a dinner plate sized pancakes and jumped on the trolly out to 'old town' San Diego to catch the bus to Sea World. Today we had our swimming with the dolphins at 10:45am. We were in a group of 6 and we got to hug n kiss n play with the dolphins....sooo cool and got some cool pix with them too! (mum n dad, i am sending back the CD with Karen that have them on it, she is gonna give it to Matt any time after Aug 3 as thats when she is back at work). So after we dryed off a lil we went to see the seals, then the sharks, folled by the sea lion show. It was so cute, they did lil dances and took the piss of tv shows like idol and survivor. Then we made our way over to the Shamu show, also very cool and boy did we get drenched!! we sat in the 'soak zone' so it was a given but good thing out cameras are waterproof!! The are such magnificent creatures tho, so big yet so gentle with the trainers, its

Swimming with the Dolphins at Sea World amazing to watch! After this we went to check out shamu under water and got some pics. Then moved on to the polar bears and beluga whales before hitting up the dolphin show. We were just drying off when we sat down only to be drench again by the pilot whales (the only 2 performing pilot whales in the world) and the dolphins. After this we had a lil more of a walk round the park before deciding to call it a day (after like 6.5hrs at the park mind you!
We caught the bus up to Pacific Plaza and got a whole pepperoni pizza for $5 and sat on the grass to eat it. Caught the bus back to Old town and the trolly back to downtown then headed back to the hostel. Here i am. Tomorrow morning we'll head off the the Amtrak station up the road to catch the train to Los Angeles. We should get to Union station by about 2. Enough time to do some washing (boooooo) and get ready to head to the Dodgers V Houston Baseball game tomorrow night (anyone with foxtel check it out, u may just see us take a catch

Michelle- the player to watch for tomorrow night is Manny Ramariz from the Dodgers (number 99). He bats at number 3, and fields in left field- big dreadlocks. He is the superstar- watch him bat. This could be the highlight of the holiday so far. I'll be watching! Go Saints. Geoff
