We went exploring and found this place that had wild goats all over the hill. Well we have been here a week as of today. The weather is changing slightly, so it isn't as hot and the humidity is getting less. We have done quite a bit this week. We did some exploring to another part of the island. We went to a parade, we went over on the panga twice to Mazatlan, we shopped in the big stores (Sam's Club, Mega, Walmart) saw a schooner come into port. Did my laundry by hand and hung it out on a drying rack. Found lots of treasures on the beach. Went to a doctor (for Gerry...he has Montezuma's revenge ). The doctor checked him over and gave him a prescription for some antibiotics and the total including medication was 922 pecos, which is approximately $90 Canadian. This is a picture of our RV park from across the bay where we went exploring., enjoying ourselves so much. We talked to Clay and Gillian and Cole and Genevieve last night on Skype. It works really well here in our spot. It was great to talk to them. I also called with skype to Jeff and Sonya's home phone with skype credit that I bought and talked to Sonya and Kayla because it is her birthday today. It was so good to hear from home. We hope to hook up with Jason soon too. Everyone here on the island is so friendly and they excuse us when we goof up on a spanish word. Everyone says good morning or good afternoon to us as we drive or walk by. Everyone is so family oriented and you see people with their kids all the time. It really is refreshing. Yes there is a lot of poverty here but there really is a beauty also. The Mexican people are very hard working and they are of course happy when the 'gringos" come to stay.......Well that is about it for our first week here.
