Counting the Days So far I'm still in jolly old Canada, but I'm in the process of planning for my departure which is fast approaching in only two weeks. Passport has been renewed, insurance is under control, credit card company is notified, ticket is paid and printed and pounds have been ordered. All I need to do is do a little more preparation shopping and then packing. The tentative plan is to head to Essex when I arrive, spend a day there then head back to London to meet another friend. I will do some sight seeing there, the British Museum and a few other things, hopefully not too touristy. Hi! Just a quick entry to wish everyone a Merry Christmas. We hope you have a wonderful time with your families! We are currently staying in a little country town call Durham- only 2,500 people! We are staying with Mark's Nan. We would write a longer entry about what we have been doing since we've been in Canada but today we are on tight time restrictions as we are visiting Nan's best friend in the next town over! Sorry duty calls! For Christmas we will drive Nan down to Torronto (about 3 hours from here) to have Christmas morning with Marks aunty Cathy (on his mothers side) and then we will have Christmas dinner with the other side of Marks family, his uncle Barry and his family.
