Mmmmmk. I'm still here. But the good news is that i leave in 98 days! Ok. It's still a relatively long wait. But it's getting closer, so i'm ok with it. Flights are now completely booked. And tours. So really theres nothing left to obsess over. AND IT DRIVES ME NUTS! I'm so excited. I can't wait to leave. And all that I have left to focus on is school. Now how heinously boring is THAT? But good news: I might be taking a French class from the end of April to the end of June. So that will keep me occupied. Now all I have left to do is find a job and my days will be so filled that I won't have time to obsess. Over anything. At least this is the plan... read more

i always knew that i can be a bit obsessive about some things sometimes. but no one, not even me, knew how OCD i was until i started planning my trip to europe. Planning flights, hostels, and tours? Thats normal. I'd call you crazy if you booked that all a day before leaving. Buying guidebooks? Totally still a sane decision. They're handy to have. Buying the guidebooks with maps? Definately neccissary. i HATE being lost. Booking tickets for the London Eye and Madame Tuddauds in March ? Thats more my style. (ps: totally have them already) Buying a 5 pound ticket to see Antony and Cleopatra at the Globe theater ? Yup. I did it. Creating an itinerary for London for each day, down to the hour, of what i plan on doing? Ok. so to ... read more

Welcome to 2006. And what a start to the New Year it was. Like 99% of the world’s population, I started 2006 incredibly liquored up, owing to the fact that I spent the last hours of 2005 downing a wide array of alcoholic beverages. But hey, there are few better reasons to party. It was New Year’s, I was back in E-town amongst my good friends here, the Oil were locked in a fight for control over the Northwest Division with the evil Calgary Flames, and gosh darn it, I was determined to party like I was 25 again. The evening started with some pre-drinking drinking at Susan Sava’s new place. I’d heard grand stories about Susan’s funky down-town condo and I was not disappointed when I saw it for myself. Susan’s fixed up the place ... read more
