Well after lovely breakfast in hotel got coach to Jerash, just over a hour journey but some lovely scenery on the way.
Jerash is the home to the old Roman ruins, really nice but really did feel like being in Rome, apparently they say that if you can’t go to Rome come to Jerash because it’s the closest place to Rome. When in the Roman theatre there was locals playing of all thing ‘Bagpipes’ ??? Didn’t know Rome had such a connection to Scotland??
On way back stopped at street cafe for lunch, delicious and only 50p my kind of place.
Stopped then at St George’s church where there is a large map of the country on the floor.
Back at hotel went to local Barbars with lads for them to get much needed shave then spent couple of hours just chilling around the pool.
Met group and walked ti local restaurant for meal, my meal was tasteless but happy days they were ever so nice and they changed it for me, replacement meal was absolutely delicious.
