As London residents, we both look forward to the London Olympics in 2011. We decided to do the Olympic Walk on Thursday, 22 September. The walk was due to start from West Ham station. Many people were waiting at the station when we arrived. The London, Guide, Harry, started collecting the money at 2:15. There weren’t very many shops around West Ham station. And, the only public toilet was out of order. He told us that West Ham Station will be the gateway station for the Olympic spectators as well as Stratford, and that’s why he decided West Ham was the gathering point for the walkers. Tuesday night Margaret, Gena and I went to King's Cross in order to see Platform 9 3/4. It was horribly tacky, but a necessity for any true Harry Potter fan. Afterwards we went down to the London and Tower Bridge and simply walked around for awhile soaking up all the excitement and energy of being in London Wednesday night Gena and I had our Legally Blonde the Musical night! It was amazing. Our original seats were way in the back and inducing vertigo so right before the show we upgraded for 10 pounds each and had great seats. London...neanglesko mesto polno Anglezev, ali anglesko mesto polno Neanglezev. In tudi zelo multi, multikulturen, multibarven, multizabaven, multidrag...multipraktik, ki je ustrezal mojim multizeljam, da se imam fajn. Sla sem deloma profesionalno (ples) deloma za zabavo, na obisk h Klemnu in na koncu se mi je vse zdelo LOVELY. Ce se greste v London malo razgledovat, slikat znamenitosti in preseneceno usta odpirat v stilu 'Uuuu to je pa drago' boste imeli polno dela. London eye, pa Buckingham palace, Tate Modern, British museum,... pa parki, veliko mesto pac. Ampak roko na srce, veliko mesto ponuja vse, tudi dobre in poceni restavracije, poceni nakupovanje ter mnozico koncertov in predstav...navsezadnje, tudi v Sloveniji se vse placa! Hello! After much consideration this is the site I am going to use to record my ten week trip to America. It's something I have wanted to do for a very long time now and unemployment twinned with my parents going to Australia (so they can't complain about me going!) seems to indicate that now is the best time to go. If you have any suggestions at any point, either about the website or about the trip itself they are very warmly welcomed.
