It has been 10 days since I arrived in Lund. It's a cosy little town in the Southern part of Sweden. Since it's a small little town, there is nothing much to do in the town centre other than shop at H & M and dincho. I stay in Sparta in a Swedish corridor, meaning that most of my corridor mates are Swedish. This gives me ample opportunity to interact with the locals. Although the wavelength is quite different, it's still interesting to talk to them. My corridor mates are very helpful and nice and assisted me in settling down. This is my first journal i wrote about a month ago, ill start from here. first of all sofe and i are very cool... pretty dam cold actually. We arrived in Stockholm early in the morning on the 27th dec, we then drove together to the small town of Laxå, popped in at sofes grandmothers then went to the "summerhouse" near the lake, (where sfes mum and dad live about 10mins drive past Laxå). we are being absolutely spoilt here, (sometimes i wonder that God never gets tired of Blessing me and i gotta stop and shake my head). yeah sweden is an awesome place, i get along with everyone really well from the beginning (although i felt my stomach was doin backflips when i walked through those airport doors). After having finally spent the past weeks to sort out which flights to use it was now time to make my mind up on how to get to Kastrup airport. It may seem like the smallest of concerns yet this simple transfer has a tendency to become drawn out, due to the limited availability of connecting flights or other means of transportation. Basically it boiled down to two options; jumping on and off trains southward or going north to grab a connecting flight to Copenhagen from Stockholm (There is also a theoretical third option. My hometown Jönköping is blessed with an "international" airport, but opting for the flight to Copenhagen would mean arriving at 8 am for an onward flight in the late evening. Thanks, but no thanks).
