Little walking day, big washing day.

You win some, you lose some. Very easy day of walking (win), big day of washing (lose). Only 4 hours or so and over some very friendly terrain makes this an easy day for walkers. Met 2 Australians (from Dunkeld) and the same 4 Swiss that were at the Sports Hotel 2 nights back. They’re greeting ’hello Melbourne’ must be for us. All very cheery because for everyone this is an easy day. Julie has found some way for the app to speak to her so navigation errors are becoming fewer and fewer (is good but not perfect) although I am constantly tricked thinking it’s someone coming from behind. Again the signage is excellent and after walking the stage you realize it could probably be done without the app. That’s almost sacrilegious saying that in this day and age but…

Bohinjska Bistrica is pretty large, again a tourist oriented town but also the administration centre for the region here. Haven’t seen much apart from the sector we walked through but we will probably go for a little walk although the hotel here has a pool and sauna so we may go for our ‘wellness’ regime again.

Our hotel is on a half board basis which means evening meals are included so I can’t see us not eating here and considering the others we met on the trail are also staying here it’s probably certain we will be here. Probably certain! What does that mean?

We walk tomorrow and are then driven back here, which always messes with me a bit but I’ve come to accept it. The ascent and descent make tomorrow a tough day (officially difficult) so returning to an environment we know will not be a bad thing.

For those wondering what happened to cow photos, flower photos and inside of churches photos the explanation is simple - Julie is having trouble air dropping her photos. She’s tried but something is amiss somewhere. Beware if they ever come through it may not be pretty as there will be heaps of them.

Have to go as I need to check up on transport arrangements for tomorrow.
