Szóval: először is jól vagyunk, ezt főleg megnyugtatásképpen írom. Ha eddig nem említettem volna hétfő reggel van, Tromsoben vagyunk, az idő tiszta, és melegebb van, mint tegnap Budapesten volt. Az utazás elég hektikusra sikerült: Frankfurtig még nem is nagyon volt gond, felszálltunk, leszálltunk, stb. A Frankfurt-Oslo gép viszont kb. 40 perccel később indult, mint kellett volna, és ez komoly kihatással volt a nap hátralevő részére. Osloba úgy értünk be, hogy kb. 45 percünk maradt az átszállásra. Ja a gépen volt egy nagyon kedves norvég, akivel sikerült beszélgetnem és megnyugtatott, Andenesben általában nincs hideg, csak a szél viharos. Na mindegy, szóval Oslo: az átszálláshoz fel kellett venni a csomagokat, újra be kellett check-olni, tehát az idő nagyon szorított. hey hey, just been to work agency, theyre gunna try and get me work, forkying, drivin, warehouse , construction or maybe even snowplowin roads. BUT i need to know at least a decent amount of Norrwegian... i guess theres no surprises there. so theres my first big challenge, learn norge!!!! ill give it a go. its still averaging between - 12 and -4 degrees which isnt very pleasant outside, sometimes i go for a walk at night and have a beer, it feels good to get out and have a beer. we cant afford to go out anywhere yet but look forward to it, i think we go out for 1 drink this week. its gunna be a great town in summer but its deadset dead as a ghosttown on a sunday or at 7pm, its ... read more

Well we are now officially Norwegians. Sofe and I moved up here last Saturday with the help of Sofes parents, helpin us out with food and helping us move furniture up here, most of which is theirs were borrowing. The unit is on the 2nd floor of a 110-year-old yellow building. 2 units on the first floor and 2 on the 2nd. We share a toilet and a shower with an old Norwegian couple across the hall. Its such a cool place here!! We have made our place so cozy and warm and everyday we thank God for this Blessing, we even have a fireplace. This is me on a bobsleigh in Lillehammer in Norway (a before, not after, picture). I paid far too much to have a go on it. I'm glad I did though. The way it worked there was a driver, then me and then the brakeman at the back. They were both nice guys but very serious, ex military I imagine. The run wasn’t that long, compared to a ski run or anything, but long enough to make me feel nervous before lift off. In fairness it doesn't take much, the pussy that I am. But once we were on the move it was fantastic; a healthy combination of terrifying and amazing. Then it all started to go wrong...
