Holidays in a motorhome take a life on of their own. They start off planned but along the way challenges arrive and change what you have planned. We might fall upon a hidden gem and decide to go off the beaten track to find it. We may love where we are and stay longer than planned. Sometimes we just don’t have the weather and move on. Our plans this year have changed completely. Places we wanted to visit have been left out. The appalling weather at the start has meant we moved on in chase of sunshine. Campsites did not turn out as we expected. Suzy was getting a serious thrashing this holiday. We would have loved to have stayed longer at Venice. I wanted to see Villa Foscari but sadly we had missed the opening
