We left Munich this morning excited for our last stop on our European Honeymoon. We arrived at the train station around 10:15 with plenty of time to spare until our 11:30 train left. We did some fun people watching and planning for our arrival in Venice. The train ride through the Alps was more beautiful than we could have imagined. There was a distinct line at the Brenner Train station that showed we crossed boarders. Not far into northern Italy we began seeing grape vines, we saw hills covered with the grapes growing everywhere. The vines literally did not stop until we were about 10 minutes outside of the Venice train station, at least three hours of vines. Now I see why Italy makes so much wine. Ok, so I was right about the fact that we wouldn’t have any kind of internet service last night in Lido… so I didn’t post the little miniature entry yesterday for nothing! So here goes two days worth of blog entry for you! Buckle up, because it might be a long one… (I hope not… that means I’d have to type it all… ) So we left the house and started to drive to where Claudia was going to be dropped off for her wind-sailing camp (or something like that). So before I say anything about today, I want to let you all know that you are lucky I am going to post a blog today at all. Why? Well because I just spent the last 45 minutes typing this entry, and all of a sudden, when I went to save, the internet here stopped working and anything it had automatically saved had been lost. David and I stared our Anniversay Day off with a nice drive to Venice all I can say is David is like driving with someone who is going to drive into a black hole and never get out. I refuse from now on to be the navigator. I don’t have high blood pressure but I’m sure if someone took it when I got in the car with David it it would be high and my heart rate would be so high they would have to call the Medi Vac helicopter to come and get me.
