Geo: 45.6713, 11.9262This morning Michael, Dad and I went for a drive with dad's cousin Genesio to the market in the nearby town of Castelfranco. The piazza was quite busy due to being market day, so Genesio dropped us off and went to find somewhere to park his car. The three of us walked around the market. Nothing really interested us. We went to the fish shop because dad thought we were going to find Genesio there. He wasn't there, so we kept walking around.We decided to walk into the old medieval part of town. The old town is surrounded by a moat filled with water and ducks. There are three entrances to the old town and we walked through the one on Via Francesco Maria Preti. Geo: 45.6713, 11.9262This morning we finished packing and luckily all our washing had dried. I messaged Luana to tell her that we were now leaving, so she could come and prepare for the next guests. It was a ten minute walk to the station and the streets were much quieter than last time, making it much easier to wheel our suitcases through the city. We were catching the 9:30 train to Padova and here changing train for Castelfranco. The journey was just under three hours. When the train was pulling into the station, we stood up and stretched. Geo: 45.6713, 11.9262We were all ready to jump in the car, for another day of sightseeing, when Matthew commented that his hands were very dirty and red…..but he hadn't noticed that he had cut his head and it was blood running down his little head making his hands so "dirty". A heartstopping moment, remembering when he fell off the trampoline and split his little head – this time, no such dramas, but he was very distressed about the blood, so we changed our plans. My little man sat and cuddled mummy and watched cartoons for a couple of hours, whilst Steven and the big kids wandered around Asolo.
