Konum itibariyle, yürüyen adam şeklindeki Como gölünde , adamın bacakları arasında en fazla korunmaya mazhar yerinde,tam testislerine denk düşüyor .. George Clooney gibi züğürtlerin yerleştiği bir yer .. Şaka bir Yana Bellagio ,gerçekten Como gölünde yüzük taşı gibi bir yer .. Bizde ismi malüm kişinin dediği gibi "kupon" bir yer .. Day 28 Have breakfast and again sit next to our new Irish friends. They are heading off on the ferry to one of the towns on the lake. We have washing to do (yes, even on holidays) so we hated off to do justice to the laundromat in the next town. Find it (nice new establishment with sub titles in English on how to use the machines - very welcome addition). Washing done while it poured rain. Decided to visit Bellagio by ferry (town on the lake that is supposedly vey nice). Go to the information office to get any other bits of advice and ask the girl at the counter. She straight away picks us as Aussies. Turns out she spent 2 years in Oz a while ago and was pining for that time again ... read more

Lake Como and Lake Lugano An apology to grammar fanatics. You will have noticed changes from present to past tense a few times, we write this in sections nightly, so we ask for forgiveness from those who care Lake Como Today we travelled from Desenzano by train via Brescia and Milan to Varenna on Lake Como. The train kept to the lake edge from Lecco up to Varenna- very pretty trip. We spent 90 mins here .Varenna was a lovely village with a tiny cove harbour, very narrow winding laneways up to a piazza and out to two villas up high above lake Como (only their gardens are open) , L escaped to take photos while D looked after the bags and met the locals (ha ha), we made the boat with 5 min to ... read more
