I wanted to take some photos this morning of the mountains but it had clouded over & there were a few spots of rain but it was still warm though. The journey we planned for our last day in Italy wasn't that far really, about 3 hours which took us via Genoa. The number of tunnels & viaducts before, through & past Genoa was incredible. At one point I asked Cathy to count them on the map but the amount of daylight between each tunnel was too little to be able to do so! (Google tells me that there are 157 tunnels between Pisa & Ventimiglia near the French border & that's c.195 miles tops) One viaduct took us over an entire suburb of the city & some of the tunnels under the city were like
