Yes, Varsha seems to have done a fantastic work in arranging our trip to Rajasthan for this summer. I am eager to leave...I cannot wait. I fell in love with India last year. Davide's dad is an old folk for the Indian subcontinent and has transmissed his fever to us. So last year we decided to try our first Indian experience. It was shocking, beautiful and terrible, colourful and dirty, hot and freezing cold, overwhelming and unforgettable. Tuscan Countryside Passing By

You know that freezing cold shower I had to take last night? That, and packing resulted in me going to bed quite late. The result being that we kinda missed the bus this morning. That actually turned out to be something of a blessing, as I'll elaborate on a bit. Gabi and I ended up heading into Venice central station, and taking a train to Rome. The local (read: slow) train to Bologna left Venice at 11:00 sharp. Ironically, the transfer in Bologna to Eurostar Italia was late 30 minutes. It did get us from Bologna to Rome in about 2 hours though. We got into Rome at 5:00pm with the delay. I have left the fog shrouded land of Scotland and headed for the sun filled vally of Bologna, Italy for the Gods of Metal festival. There was over 24 hours of music over 2 days playing for an audiance of over fourty thousand people. It was an great show with many great bands playing. On the road again... well, more like in the air again, then on the road, followed by the rail… whatever. This time, off to Italy. While there I was to meet up with two people I hadn't seen in many years. Samantha was my first girlfriend in High School here in the States. Over on a one-year exchange program from Italy, our paths crossed in the School Library, and before long I was her English Boy and she was my Italian Girl in the middle of the California desert. We hadn't seen each other for 12 years, recently reunited via an Alumni site I run.
