Travel Blog Monday 23rd June to Thursday 3rd July 2014 Monday 23rd June 2014. Up early and off we go to Mt Ventoux. We had sent 2 emails to the campsite in Bedoin but had no reply from them – Garenne camping. So we go there only to be fobbed off as they were full – hence no reply. So we go another campsite – a la natural – NO CLOTHES – and €50/night – Tom didn’t want to do that one  - so off we head to the municipal camping site. They are also full. Finally found one about about 10kms out along a very narrow road, over small very narrow bridge (Gaye’s eyes shut) and finally come to a campsite. Do I begin in Paris? Do I begin on the train to Avignon? Do I begin on the drive to the house in Cairanne? Do I begin today, Sunday? I think I have to just jump in and give snippets of our adventure so far. The highlight of Paris was lunch at L’Ebauchoir Restaurant (http://www.lebauchoir.com/ ) which is Kevin’s and my favorite Paris restaurant. I have never had a bad lunch here, and Wendy was sufficiently impressed to want to eat there again, when we come back in. Aside from a petite peu of shopping, we pretty much did what we could to catch up on sleep, in preparation for Part 2 of the trip, the train to Avignon and finding the house in Cairanne.
