At Pere Lachaise Cemetery we made a point of visiting Oscar Wilde and Edith Piaf. Oscar's family have put up glass barricades to prevent people kissing the tomb. We were thinking we should have recited his bon mots at the grave....

Do I begin in Paris? Do I begin on the train to Avignon? Do I begin on the drive to the house in Cairanne? Do I begin today, Sunday? I think I have to just jump in and give snippets of our adventure so far.
