At around 3pm local time we finally arrived at Maison Alaric! Although in true holiday we did have a slight dilemma when we arrived. With Stella's bad thoughts of 'too good to be true, the house doesn't exist' running through our heads, we arrived at the road unable to locate the house. After a few moments of wondering the 'adults' finally discovered they had driven right past the massive sign. Doh! Our official arrival time was not until 5pm so as we were early we parked our cars and walked the short stroll into town, sat at the first restaurant and ordered drinks.
