Roles defined
How many years has it been . . . ? Finally, the positions in your relationship come into focus. Ron, I suspect you considered the possibility that you have been kept around for your brawn, . . . (Oh Yeah! . . . and your good looks) It's good this is in the open. Honestly in a relationship, though over rated, has it's benefits. :- ) P

I be liking your digs.
Living large in a really sweet rig.....Merry Christmas from Cocopaw Indian Rez in Yuma. And relieved you weathered the storm.

Hi
Besides getting you on my negotiations team the best thing we have done is to get you and Ron into local bars! We accept that as a compliment. Ann-Tim

On the road again!
Glad to hear you are back on the road and are taking a year off of working. I certainly understand your wish to do retirement activities which definitely do not include cleaning restrooms. Me either!!!! The other part of your work sounded so interesting last year. We left on November 17th and stopped at our respective children's for Thanksgiving and then back on the road heading south two days after the holiday. We set up camp for the first time in Vicksburg, MS and stayed for 3 days. Interesting place. I have yet to blog but Richard has been posting. I seem to be a bit lazy this year. We are at present on Galveston Island and heading out today to head north and west to eventually end up somewhere in Arizona. Need the dry climate. The beach is great but the humidity is not! Be well, Jackie and Richard

Sorry
Tam & Ron, So sorry to hear about your accident. The main thing is that you're both all right. In a little while it will just be a "blip" and you'll remember the great times you had in New Mexico.

Positive attitude!!!
Glad to hear you had a great experience volunteering but had the accident. You did not mention what happened but the picture of your truck looks like someone ran into you!! I do hope there were no injuries and your cat was ok. Where did he stay when you were in the hotel??? We too are headed back to the UP of Michigan and just crossed over the line from Utah into Wyoming. We are taking a bit of a northern route this year. Lots to see in Utah. Also some really scary (for me) winding steep roads. I got through them but whew, it takes a lot out of me. We hope to be back in the UP and home by the first week in May. We did have a good winter; much better weather this year then last and were able to do a bit more bike riding then last year. I am looking forward to my own home and bed though.....and my two cats. Be well, Jackie Untalan

Very nice pictures. In San Antonio visit the Alamo. Loving history like I do it was almost a religious experience. Friends I was with said "I thought it was much bigger and commented it was so commercialized. What do they know? Enjoy! TD

Were the willow the \"straw that broke the camels\' (yours) back?\" I was amazed that 8 could plant 600 willow and the addition of 35 persons only doubled the amount of willow planted the previous day. The 35 additions must must have been donut eaters. I really like the photos of the cliff dwellers. Be well. P

Works and plenty of play
That sounds like the right formula. I would try a bit less work though. Are your days getting longer? Warmer? P

Enjoying your blogs Tam, keep em' coming. If I can find your email, I'm going to send you a picture of what I thought were wolfs at Organ Pipe Cactus. Now that you're an expert, I'm sure you can give a "Thumbs up, or down" on an ID. Not a bad gig you got going there, 4 day paid vacation to boot.

Hi Tam, Good to see you both are embracing the life in the desert. I wonder if you\'re going to be willing to leave the good life. Lean and keen . . . , that is a good way to come away from a work experience. I envy both of you. You spoke of the snow disappearing by 11 AM. Back here, snow has been scarce. In fact the temperatures have been unusually temperate, mid-20\'s at night and into the low 40\'s with plenty of sun. Downright balmy for early February. Enjoy those local eateries. P
