Fish Market
Hi Tammy and Ron. We miss you. Looks like you are having a great time. Is that the same fish market where the workers throw the fish and sing and dance and have fun?

Ed who?
We must have seen lots of posters of him. I'm just learning about the characters from Kris, who is a big fan. The city it self is rather a drab little place.

Did you see Edward Cullen? The vampire main character...in Twilight series? No? Oh well...travel safe.

Nice pictures...your trip should get a littler sunnier and warmer as you head south. Bonnie and I drove 101 and it is a wonderful trip, scene after scene from the Movies...this is where they shoot a lot of film. Enjoy!

who named cape disappointment
Hi Lynn, Ron asked about the name. This area had been mapped and explorerd before Lewis and Clark got here by some guy who couldn't find the mouth of the Columbia and was Disappointed! HAH-HAH on him! Seeing Mark this weekend. Good times.,

Great Pictures!!
Love the commentary and the pictures!! Why do they call it Cape Disappointment? You would think it would be Cape Finally Made It! I went over the Columbia River and it was spectacular.

Looks like fun
Your comment about the cars stopping to let you across the street mad me laugh. The entire state of WA does that too. When I first got here I kept accidentally stopping traffic when I stood too close to the edge of the road. Love it actually. Wish ever state was so patient.

Awesome!
Hi Tammy and Ron, It is great to read these cause we get a sense of what you are doing, and also knowing that you guys are ok is very good to know. I just told Gary that reading about your journey makes me want to do it, but he'd have to find a drug that put me out for most of the driving part, I am such a weinnie when it comes to long car trips. Your blog is great Tammy..good job and what a memory it will be for you when you are 90 or so and can't remember that you even went. Be safe.
