love the picture of dad with the mannequin... no wonder they chased you out of the store! looks very cool there, we will have to head to valley of fire next time we are out there, looks like more fun than the red rock place we went too!

The desert
Wow! Sounds nothing like what you expected---doesn't sound like a desert at all actually. The coyote picture is really cool--I would have to agree with Kris. The abandoned mining picture is really neat too---surprised it is still standing. It looks about ready to fall down! I laughed that you said it was the driest area in the world and it rained while you were out there. Too crazy!!! Sounds like you are still having an amazing adventure--keep posting lots of pictures!! They are great.

I love the coyote and the last picture... that is what i expected you would see! cant wait to see you in feb!
