I met mom and dad at the Heathrow Airport. We rented a car which was stickshift which made things terrifying driving...from the back seat haha i was really upset though becuase I really wanted to drive. We went through to see stonehenge which wasn't as impressive as I thought it woul be. It just wasn't as big as it seemed like it should be. I saw Lauren M there from Palace Court. She was there with her mom. It was kinda of weird and awesome seeing someone I live with at Stonehenge. I guess my mom's right I find someone I know EVERYWHERE I go. We went on to bath from there. We roamed around the town that night. It was realy cute. It was a little cold but that didn't stop me from getting the ... read more

When we boarded the bus at palace court we were expecting a three hour ride to 'wus-ter-sher' worcestershire for the weekend. At ont point we were driving through wales becuase our bus driver got lost. We arrived at almost midnight and we roamed around with flashlights lookin for cows until the rest of the FYSAE kids got her. The place was a typical camp kind of place. Although all the pictures showed little kids so I was hoping the rock climbing wall was at least taller than me ha ha THe first day fter a hearty breakfast they split us into groups. I was with all palace court people but it would ahve been sweet cause I was with Sara and she was going to be hardcore into it with me. THen Daniel was like "i ... read more

Rose and I went to Cardiff this morning. The day startd of at 7am. We mae our way to Victoria Station just before sunrise. Our busride took almost four hours beause the M4 was shut down. We arrived almost exactly at noon we went to see the castle there in cardiff. It was the first castle I had seen...besides arcadia's haha We pretty much just roamed around the city which was pretty small and went into the market and just chilled. It wasn't a gotta go here, gotta see this kind of thing. Everything was so inexpensive there too. I spent a total of 30 pounds the whole day. I wish I lived in the ancient times to be able to live in a castle and wear those dresses...well maybe just for like a week.. haha ... read more

I signed up through Arcadia to go on the daytrip to Brighton. It was only 5 pounds. We got there around noon and got some fish and chips. I just had a bite of Marks. Not a fan of fish but i am a fan of anything deep fried. We pretty much just walked around. Nothing really exciting happened. I ate alot...two crepes which were amazing and italian ice cream..... read more

Today started out like any other day...until I got on the tube. I'm on my way home and I'm reading the paper. I"m one stop away and i see an add for the Kingdom...and I thought to myslef "yes im so excited its coming out tomorrow...i've been waiting to see it for a year." Then I notice above it "PREMIERE TONIGHT...SEE JAMIE FOXX AND JENNIFER GARNER LIVE!" I run of the tube and transfer and make my way to Leister Square. I get there and run to get a good spot...and there is none because I'm already late. :( I jump inline behind the paparazzi. There's a baracade that I jump ontop of to get a good picture and the one guy comes over and yells at me to get down. So I get down butI've ... read more

So, I wasn't too overly excited about my birthday this year since I had class all day and nineteen isn't an exciting age at all. Although it marks the last year of my teenage years. It's kind of a scary age. My two roomates Sara and Shaina told me they were taking me out for my birthday. They were treating for diner so calories weren't allowed to be counted that night and they weren't telling me where we were going but I had to dress in formal attire...dress required! This got me pretty excited. They could have taken me to mcdonalds and i would have been happy haha I love surprises and i never found out where we were going which is awesome...becuase I always find surprises out. We get off the tube in Soho so ... read more

We had our homestay this weekend. I was a little disappointed. They weren't as socialable as I was hoping for. It was a great experience though. And it was nice to get out into the country and play with dogs and sprawl out on the couch.... read more

This morning I woke up feeling quite ill again. Allergies have been a killer these past two days. We had registration at City Uni this morning. We all got to pick our classes before the rest of the students. We all felt a bit bad about that, but what can you do about it. I'm disappointed in my schedule. My schedule goes as follows : Monday: 9-1 British Art and Architecture 3:30-5:30 Thought and Expression Tuesday: 9-1 History of Modern Britain Wednesday : FREE DAY! Thurs: 1-3 Theories of Global Politics Friday: 10-12 Thought and Expression Ontop of that I have an internet class called Cross-Cultural Expressions which is just a reflective essay each week that we send it via email. I have one lecture and one Seminar for each class every week. The two classes ... read more

I am very sick of orientation. It's been about three weeks now but we're almost winding down to an end. Two politicians talked to us today about some of the issues. That was kind of exciting. But my favorite part of the day was going to the British Museum. THey only gave us an hour there but I could have spent the day there. I got to see the Rosetta Stone! I didn't even know that it was kept here in London. That was so fascinating. There were a lot of Greek and Egyptian artifacts and tombs and mummies. It was wonderful! After that though, the school treated us to tea which was cute and exciting! haha We all got tea and biscuits and little finger sized sandwiches! It was so cute. It was our first ... read more
