4WD Hi. Sounds like your Australia Day weekend was a 'blast'. Glad to hear you are still enjoying the outings with the club. What a monster group.
As always, great blog and fantastic pictures.
Condolences and greetings from Welwyn Garden City, my home town. I'm sorry that your visit to our part of the world was, sadly, to bid farewell to your mum. Happily, however, funerals also serve to bring together family and friends from distant places - and the smiles on their faces confirm how pleased they were that you journeyed here from the other side of the world.
Thank you Hi Mike,
Thanks for your kind words, it was a bit of a shock arriving at LHR at 4.20 pm dark, wet and cold.
Still all done and we gave our mum a great respectful farewell.
My regards
Andy
Very funny! I love dog stories, and this was pretty funny--no wonder the owners wanted you to do the capture and wash job. Brilliant to use dog treats--bribery is always best. Good thing you captured your hard work on the Dog Cam, so the owners would believe that the sweet-smelling, mud pup had been bathed--the little rascal.
Bath Time Nice to see you are not being idle while I am at work, I have been chuckling to myself all morning wondering how you were getting on with the dog bath activity. Glad to see you fooled her into it though.
Condolences Andy, I had not checked the KangarooJack blog for a while. I'm very sorry to learn that your mother passed away. I hope thinks are now going well with you and Caroline. Anne
Thanks for your kind words Hi Anne,

Its nice to be back in Australia and Caroline and I are fine thank you.
My regards
Andy
Sincere condolances Having migrated to Australia as a ten pound pom in 1966 I was able to fly back to the UK prior to the deaths of both my mum and dad. In both cases we had to fly back home about a week before they died so I didn't return to the UK for funerals. But whichever way such events pan out it is an awful time; my thoughts are with you. As the saying goes, "Death is like the rumble of distant thunder at a picnic." Peace and love, Michelle
Blessings Sorry to hear about your mother, a difficult time when there is no right time. Glad you have had so much support around you - thoughts are with you and your family x
The world just went bang ... Hi Andy & Caroline,
You have both been constantly on our minds since your phone call Boxing Day. Jen was only too happy to help out in any way possible to get you to the UK Andy, as quickly as possible. You are very good friends certainly but, family to us. A terrible shock for you, we know, but at least you can take some comfort in the knowledge that you had a good chat with your mum Christmas Day. We hope that everything goes as well as it can do tomorrow and look forward to having you back home safe and sound again. Caroline - our thoughts are constantly with you also, holding the fort in the West. It can't be easy at your end either but, if there's one thing we do know about the two of you - you aren't ones to welch on a deal. Your word is your bond. Our condolences, sympathies and love to you both. Jan, Ted & Co. xxxx
Back in the November of 2008, we embarked on an adventure that would take us out of everything that we were so familiar with, a comfortable life in the UK, friends, family and the English countryside. Some call it brave, others thought that we would be back, but above all, most people helped us embrace the challenge that lay ahead of us.
Weary of corporate life, we emigrated to Australia, with the notion of buying a 4 wheel drive and camper trailer and a 12 month trip to explore our adopted country, Not an easy thing to do as we had to start from scratch, simple things like knife, fork, s... full info
