trip of a life time
This is a trip you both will never forget, also a eye opener, to all the wonderful sites and to relive the history that most people only dream about. You both have met people that will be friends for the rest of your life. Most importantly, you found out that no matter where you traveled too, there is no place like home.

I am so happy for you both! What a wonderful experience. And a great preparation for marriage; whatever troubles you have in the future, you can look at each other and say "At least we're not in a tent in the rain!" Lots of love, see you at the wedding! Picking up your present today. :-D :-D :-D

also...
the idea that they have to wait is also bullshit..serious illness..you go to the head of the line....and ambulance gets you to the head of the line.....its just a load of bs if they say anything bad about the healthcare in britans......old people get to ride free on all buses and trains!!!! and the healthcare is extended to everywhere in europe as well...if yoru sick on holiday..no worries.......seriosuly.

Old Sud, etc...
Make sure you go by Old Sud. I don't think there is an entrance fee and it is AWESOME!!! One of Henry II castles. You can see the entire works, although none of the buildings are still standing. It is situated on an old Roman fort with works that are even older than that. I think I know the hill with the horse you are talking about. We went by it on our way to bath from Salisbury.

So sorry
Sorry to hear that she's making even unwanted "friends" on your travels. Do you have to treat your own bedding now? I hope the meds work. BTW, I've heard that there's lots of fun to be had in Amsterdam on a Saturday night. ;)

Cluny
You've got to see the Musée National du Moyen Age Thermes de Cluny de Paris, AKA The Cluny. The building itself is amazing (Roman). The Unicorn Tapestries are there. They are quite lovely. My favorites. And make sure you get croisants. You will never feel the same about crescent rolls again!

Kutna Hora
"Hora" means "mountain". Regarding the word "Kutna", it sounds similar to "kutat" = "to mine" and many people think this is the right meaning; but in fact it comes from Cuthna Antiqua (the older name - like 13th century - of the town), meaning "and old cape". Because according to a legend, there was an old monk, who once went for a walk in the woods and found three silver rods sticking out of the ground. He covered them with his cape and ran back to the monastery to tell the other monks, and this is how silver was discovered in Kutna Hora and the mining began. So, its "Cape Mountain" :)

and I miss you!
It's raining here too. Supposed to be a brass band concert in the park tonight, if it isn't thundering. Holding a tuba to your lips in a thunderstorm would just be silly. Really looking forward to seeing you and attending the wedding.

Pelvis brooches
Did you take pictures of the clasps at the pelvis? Would be great documentation.
