Today we got up early….didnt sleep well last night for some reason…even after staying up late to watch part 1 of a 2 part doctor who we downloaded….ah well…
Got up and headed to the alte pinoteck museum…the one that houses more than 500 years of art from the middle ages to the rococo period……it was amazing
We saw…….the first Leonardo davinchi……lots of reubens….albrecht duher….botichelli…..hans memling….van leyden…..raphael….van dyck….tizian…..and rembrant……just to name the big ones…and it was all amazing…..lots of these paintings were humongous!!!! Giant pieces stretching all the way to the ceiling!! Really touching and breathtaking……and yes…we got pictures!!! And in grizz’s 10 megapixel goodness…you can zoom allllllll the way in kids!!! Awesome…..
I took extra close up pics as well of awesome dresses, shoes hats and purses I saw in the paintings as well..more than a few hats I have never seen anyone wear….but look awesome…..so enjoy!!! And lets see more different representations of hats and stuff in the sca…crazy hats are in this season!
Found out tickets to Innsbruck will be 40 bucks for the both of us…but to rome about 300….so uh…yeah I guess were gona go to Innsbruck maybe Sunday….suposed to be nice and
sunny Saturday and Sunday so a sunny Saturday here will be nice…..pack up early Sunday and get the tent nice and clean and dry….and on to Innsbruck Austria….from there its just a jump to gimmelwald Switzerland.
After that we grabbed a bite to eat…did the laundry….omg dry clean stuff amazing!!! And charged up the computer and cameras and stuff..put the laundry away….batten down the hatches..and watched more American tv in the tent and just relaxed…..tomorrow…..the residence.
