sorry ya'll didn't have any luck at the mine. As for the race, hope ya'll do well! I ran 3 miles in 23:37 yesterday! felt like throwing up during the last half mile, but kept going and then felt awesome after!! :o) Love you guys!

I had forgotten about the Flume!
How could I have forgotten about the flume? Remembering it now, it is one of my favorite places. No matter how hot it may be elsewhere, in the Flume it is always cool and wonderful. Love your descriptions of stuff. You should be a travel writer.

boston looks pretty fun

Mom loved those swan boats

Liberty sqare is calling in Greek(Plateia Eleutherias). The (Plateia Venizelou) is the lion's square although very little use that name becase is knonw as lions square. Although very nice article! :)

Accommodations on Santorini
Our hotel was great, but not actually in Fira and not overlooking the caldera (cliff). I can't personally recommend any other hotels in Fira, but I can tell you that you're unlikely to find many with a great view and not too many steps. There are more ups and downs than flat! Maybe a place near the northern edge where they haven't built down the cliff much yet. Good luck and enjoy, we did.

going to Santorni with my sister and mother for mother's 80th b-day. Want to go to Santorni but looking for a clean reasonable hotel that has a view and not too many steps in the heart of Fira. Can you tell me more about yours or recommend any others. Thanks

Cave Tour
Hi, sorry, but its been awhile now and I don't remember. It wasn't cheap, something like $80, but well organized and a real blast. By the way, the tours are very limited and only conducted by one tour agency I think, due to the fragility of the cave artifacts.
