Ah, that's hard! I remember how much impact the beds had on how I felt while we were there last year.

Me again, actually maybe the date is off on this one, but you will figure it out. Travelpod is nice when it's not a pain. Very interesting pictures of the architecture (I can handle some... )Love, Kath

What an adventure you are having! Take care! You're soooooo far away! But the Lord is with us wherever we go. Still, it will be nice to have you back here safe and sound.

This reminds me of the one we visited in Rome. It fascinates me that there is sooo much history hidden beneath the current modern city. What will it be like in another 500 years? Will the streets we walked on be lost and rediscovered as wel
l?

Has the buffalo mozzarella been as good this time as it was last time?? I'm very jealous!! But I hope you are enjoying every morsel!!

Nope, I was wrong...the map loop was always there, I guess, for your roundtrip. Looks like everything is now in perfect order... :) I bet the aromas were wonderful; the food sounds delicious.

Hi Wendy, just a quick note to test the comments since I have been watching Sammi all day today. Can't take one's eyes off her for too long! Glad you were able to find more room for photos. Sounds like the new friendships and this cooking c
lass were highlights to remember from Bologna, so nice that it is ending well despite a little (understandable ) homesickness. Have enjoyed looking at the photos to get an overview of what it's like there. I noticed yesterday your location was Richland, which is why your travelpod map shows a loop now...there and back again (wow)! Got to go, enjoy your last couple of days and will pray for a good trip home.Love, Kath

Glad to see you took time to end your day with gelato. Make sure you do some of the things that make Italy special to you. Technically you are still on vacation.XXOO

Sorry if I got too inquisitive, you don't have to answer about the bag fees if you don't want to. :) Just trying to figure out for future travels if a combo like you had counts as two free carryons. Hard to keep it to one with weather and e
vent variables.

No bag fees, both are considered carryons, at least from the US. Last year the larger one was too big for Alitalia so they made me check it for free. I stick my purse in the smaller one for boarding purposes. I don't mind the questions, bet
ter now while I can still remember the answers!

Thankful you have a nice apartment in Bologna, Wendy. Hope you enjoy the classes and classmates there, too. When you talk about packing up and dragging your stuff to the vaporetto, was curious how much luggage (ie clothes) you brought with y
ou. Your wardrobe has looked nice, not the same thing every day, obviously. Maybe should have had side-by-side pics of your bag and Jim's one week luggage. I know how it goes in my house. ;) Enjoy the next part of the adventure!

Hi Kathy, I brought 3 pair of pants, 2 sweaters, 1 light jacket, 2 dresses, 2 skirts , 5 short sleeved shirts and 1 long sleeved, pj's, and another long sleeved 1/4 zip layer piece, lace up shoes, and sandals, 6-8 pair of under wear, socks,
etc.. Having a washer cuts the need for so many and I was thinking if I cut it down maybe could get by with out the smaller carry on... Would be nice when I'm hauling them up and down stairs ;-) but with the weather variable, you never know what you need. But maybe I could cut down on a sweater and a shirt or two, probaby not enough to cut out the other bag... But will really inventory what I use and what I don't!So nice to hear from you, I hope all is going well at your house and with your family!

Thank you Kathy for your prayers! Jim should be boarding now. Sad about your bracelet but you would enjoy seeing Venice, it's such an unusual city, their own unique set of problems with literally living right over sea water.
