Thanks Wendy for the updates and pictures on your blog. I'm enjoying reading about your adventures and seeing all of the great pictures. I'm experiencing Italy vicariously through your travels. Glad to hear that your housing need is met, wh
ile you are in language school. I'm praying for your safety and that you will continue to have a wonderful vacation. God bless you friend! Sharon

Hi Wendy and Jim, wish this part of your blog were ending on a more upbeat note, but nice that you got to see the glassblowing and not get too soaked. I was sad that I lost the little murano glass bracelet Moira had given me in Hawaii, thin
k a maid had light fingers, but no proof. Still have the millefiori pendant, though, which I love. Such beautiful workmanship, I would like to see it made someday (and get a replacement). Am praying for the Lord's peace and wisdom for you in your school/travel decisions, and for safety and peace for Jim and you as you part ways for now. Love,Kath

Where's the knife and fork? Looks yummy! You must eat buffalo mozzarella while you are there, and think of me while you enjoy every morsel!

Looks like a Magnolia fruit to me. :)

What a beautiful place, thanks for posting the pictures! I "had" to research this, think it is the oleander plant, very common in Italy, southern California, places like that. Not related to the rhododendron, but found out both plants are v
ery toxic, as in a dog or child can be killed if they eat one leaf of oleander! (Rhodies and azaleas not as bad.) Good to know, also best not to touch the oleander with bare hands, the sap can irritate skin. Hope you just admired it from afar.
