Ella in her box

Awww Ella!
Mia gives us this same look (but with a slightly tilted head)... we call it her 'Lady Di' look :) I'm impressed with your haul of souvenirs from Morocco and France! Love the pottery. I'm also curious about the group dynamics you hinted at ;)

Awww Ella!
That’s so cute, the “Lady Di” look 😃. I loved the Moroccan pottery, and it’s so nice to bring things back from trips. The group dynamics were good, but I’ll PM you details!

Good to hear
Good to hear that Susan recuperated well, and I look forward to reading about Paris as I catch up with your blogs :)

Beautiful Essaouira!
Ah, now I remember why I loved Essaouira so much. Thanks for bringing back for me the memories of this lovely town by the sea. I'm sorry to read that poor Susan hasn't been well. I do hope she rested well and recovered, to be able to continue enjoying your amazing journey.

Beautiful Essaouira!
I definitely loved Essaouira, it was such a charming town. It was so unfortunate Susan got sick so she was unable to enjoy Essaouira at all. It took several days but she recovered well and we had a great time in Paris.

Marrakech
Ah, the contrasting colours of the Jardine Marjorelle are just beautiful - the vibrant blues and the various shades of natural green. I look forward to reading about Essaouira, I very much enjoyed my visit there.

Mountains to Marrakech
Gosh, the change of scenery from mountains to Marrakech must have been pronounced! I remember the change in Djemaa El-Fna from daytime to evening - quite dramatic! I love the photos of the Medina doorways - beautiful 😊

Welcome home!
Welcome home! Glad you're back safe & sound. But I'm feeling a bit let down: nuffin to do ... nuffin to see... sigh... Where do we go next? So nice to see my friend Ella!

Welcome home
Thanks Jo, it’s good to be home. We’re planning a short trip to Dublin and Belfast at the end of May!

Thank you!
We read all of your blog entries and really enjoyed travelling with you from the comfort of our home. I did a travel blog when we went to Europe and it definitely is a lot of work, and I did it on my laptop not an iPhone! Apart from sharing your trip at the time, you do have it as a diary and it can be fun to read it later and remember the trip.

Thank you!
Glad you and Valerie enjoyed the blogs, Scott. I definitely like reading them later, it’s fun to relive the trips. I used an iPad mini to do the blog (with a small keyboard case). Typing so much text on an iPhone would be insane!

Bonjour Paris, leaving hurts the heart..
Loved Notre Dame so big do old. When I stood in that cathedral I pictured the Nights Templar and the Cathars also standing there too. Lol
