It must have felt great to finally set foot in Croatia after the very long wait to do so! I think I would love this city - kitties, great food, gelato, views, cute old streets - it's got everything I love :)

We were so excited to finally get to Croatia! It was such a great place to visit, and I highly recommend it. Dubrovnik old city was truly amazing, and I loved walking the walls so much.

English Experiences
Wow, so many English experiences in such a short space of time - a Fish 'n' Chip lunch, gin and tonics, an Agatha Christie play at the theatre, and ice cream with mini wooden spoons during the interval! Nice to read of your family catch-ups, and I couldn't agree more with Erol Oran's words on public transport 😊 I'm glad you had a nice time in Old Blighty, and I look forward to reading about your travels in Croatia 😊

Wow! So interesting to read a travel blog about the city in which I live. It's so true what they say, you don't really appreciate a place if you live there. London is an amazing city, and it has some amazing museums. And you're right, you were here at such a momentous time in history. I often take the Eastbourne-bound train, as my daily commute between East Croydon and Clapham Junction stations forms part of its journey. It would have been funny if I'd bumped into you both on my way home, lol!

Ah, that’s always the way. I take Vancouver for granted since I live here. I sure love the museums in London (especially the British Museum, I could spend days there). That would have been very funny to have seen you on the train!

I was so surprised there were no Australians in our group (and a bit disappointed because we like travelling with Aussies). We’ve made some good Australian friends on our travels who we hope to visit when we eventually make it to Australia 😀.
