The Perfect Ending Your last shots as you raced through Rome were the perfect ending to the perfect adventure. Great job! Especially that bit about a "famous fountain"... hysterical. Even jaded Americans know that's a close up of the trout pond at Big Bear Lake :).
Have a safe trip home...dreaming of pasta and luigis...
XOXOX
Bye Bye Miss American Pie Drove my Chevy to the Levy to say goodbye, la la la la. When in Rome did you do as the Romans do? From what I could see in the pixs of Rome very artsy and ornate. Thank you both for a wonderful vacation. You know I have always been 10 feet behind you. What a trip. Happy and safe landing in the good old USA. That reminds me of one of Michelle's old boyfriends, "Bruce Springstein" (you know "Born in the USA" guy. Love, Mom
I still can't believe... ...how great your pictures are... and the variety... from fruit to cobblestones to grand landscapes... National Geographics could use you two. Enjoyed them all!
XOXOX
Let's See... It's noon on Sunday in L.A. That makes it about 9 p.m. on Sunday in ... are you in Rome now? I can just see you two trying to figure out how to get 1,200 pairs of shoes into 2 newly-purchased suitcases while Franco, Luigi, and 'the butcher' are all trying to ply you with vino...
I'm sure all those Italians will form a 'congo line' at the airport and pass each of your pieces of luggage from one to the next until the bags are all safely on board you special Fed Ex flight to Burbank.
Good luck!
Look forward to hearing from you when you get home and get some sleep.
XOXOX
STUNNING! Just incredible. The views, the cliffs, the flowers, (the lemons!), ocean, and the yummy food. Oh and glad you have had help from the dozens of smiling Luigis ;)...!!!!
BRILLITALIANTA Catching up after the fabulous Cable Show! (you were missed) Somehow or other I am going to find a way to weave "Treasury. Number 1." into most conversations, or at least into random ad copy.
FRANCO, huh? Ooooooh! Italy! I'd love to go! looks like you had a nice time!
LOVE your FRANCO WITH LOVE tee! Made me think of that handsome Portugese/Russian guy, JAMES FRANCO!!
Luggi and more All the pictures of Amalfi coast, etc. were breathtaking. Looks like you two are know everywhere in Italy. Enjoy your time relaxing now before you fly home. Don't get in too much mischief. Keep looking for more Luggie's. Mom
lemons!!!!! I know you are relaxing, etc, on vacation, etc etc...but can you do me a big favor - please peel and eat one of those gigantic lemons, they are supposed to be sweet! Inquiring minds want to know....or ask someone - maybe that is a better idea. I have to know. It is sooooo beautiful there, I cannot imagine what it must be like in person, when it is incredibly, unbelievably muy lindo in photos. xoJ
Hats, yaughts and smiles I love your hats. The yaught looked like so much fun. I can picture Melinda getting sea sick now. I am wearing my patch and it has helped. How many autographs have you signed? The scenery is beautiful and I feel like I am there with you both. Mom
Shoes and more shoes plus a little humor The bobzie twins trying on shoes; what a better way to spend the day. What a treat seeing Sophia Loren. She still lookes great. You two are a pair and it looks like your having such fun. Mom
Boats! What a great way to get around! Especially since you DO have all that water, there. What a clever landscaping design! And just so people will really believe you were there, you should include the two of you in some of your pictures :)
The Amalfi Coast is really beautiful. No wonder Mehrdad is so crazy about it.
XOXOX
