ROME in an hour

We spent half the day tanning in Positano before our driver, Jessie James picked us up in his "pleasure on wheels" tour bus to take us to Rome to catch our plane.

Upon our arrival in Rome, we decided to get in as much as we could of this magnificent city in an hour. We must come back for more Rome some day!
It's now 12:30 am on Monday and we can hardly believe how fast the past two weeks have flown by. We have seen so many beautiful sights and have truly had one of the most memorable and fantastic vacations ever.

This is our last night in Italy and our last "blog". We hope you've enjoyed experiencing the memories we've been making and think we are at least half as funny as we think we are. Most of our vacation was spent laughing ourselves silly, being in awe of the beauty and history of Italy, moved by the magnificent Cathedrals, and enjoying our friendship.

Italy has been good to us. We are very blessed. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Bye Bye Miss American Pie
Drove my Chevy to the Levy to say goodbye, la la la la. When in Rome did you do as the Romans do? From what I could see in the pixs of Rome very artsy and ornate. Thank you both for a wonderful vacation. You know I have always been 10 feet behind you. What a trip. Happy and safe landing in the good old USA. That reminds me of one of Michelle's old boyfriends, "Bruce Springstein" (you know "Born in the USA" guy. Love, Mom

The Perfect Ending
Your last shots as you raced through Rome were the perfect ending to the perfect adventure. Great job! Especially that bit about a "famous fountain"... hysterical. Even jaded Americans know that's a close up of the trout pond at Big Bear Lake :). Have a safe trip home...dreaming of pasta and luigis... XOXOX
