Thanks Su, I'm glad you've enjoyed reading my blog! I've still got a few more entries left, but they'll have to wait until I get home... Fiji just isn't the place for fast internet!

WOW!
All I can say is WOW! Someday, when my hair is done transforming from black to white, I am doing this! Meanwhile I will sit on my chair and read and drool. Thanks Jonathan for some of the most wonderful trips I have gone onto through your eyes and writings. Looks like u put on some lbs, your mom will be relieved.

Thanks V, but your skills with an SLR should definitely not be put down! Is Greg in Auckland? Damn, and now I only have 2 days left... if only I'd known earlier :-)

You so prove the adage that only a bad workman blames his tools; using a compact you have taken phenomenal photos that far outstrip my SLR ones and I had two years of living there to take them in!!! Did you not fancy looking Grig up when you were in Auckland?! V x

They were given to me by one of my dearest friends, although I'm not organised enough to wear the right pair on the right day...

Fantastic coral
Great photos as always, good on you.

Thanks! I've been trying to make my panos more interesting and reflect the general theme of the place. They're all just normal photos cropped to the right proportions, but I've now started to take photos specifically to use as panoramas if I see something that suits.

Love the pano
Jonathan, been going through some of your recent entries and got some great ideas on panoramas. I usually focus on landscape and grand scenery, but I now realise that I have to radically change that approach. Thanks! I especially like this one - I assume these were not taking in any kind of panorama setting but were "individual" pictures with their own settings to achieve the blur at the right sight? Awesome!

Underwater pano - cool!
I have never seen an underwater panorama - nice one Jonathan! Just imagine how it would look if you had had better visibility!

Great, thanks Nick! I didn't hear their call, they spent a lot of time sitting perfectly still... I thought they were garden ornaments!

The bird in Photo 10
Hi. Nice to see you're enjoying Queensland. The bird in Photo 10 is a curlew, or more specifically a Bush Stone Curlew. I hope you heard the sound they make, because it can get pretty loud.

Mui Ne is such a beautiful place and has greatest beaches in South East Asia. Time seems to stand still when you're there
