Hi Jonathan, I hope you have packed in some lbs. BTW as a white person, you get to enjoy what we call Mat Salleh rate. Mat Salleh is a white man. I have never ever gotten that sort of rate at all even from reserving from the US nor at home from Johor Baru.

Hey i totally agree with muno, your pics are damn cool...some of the best i have seen of mumbai. Hi Luke. I did my trip with Absolute Africa - it's called the Absolute Safari. It was an amazing trip, but I think several companies offer similar packages. I would recommend Absolute. I'm using a Nikon D70 camera, just a basic SLR, but with a 300mm zoom lens for the wildlife shots. Enjoy Africa!

I work as a town planner in London, and have always enjoyed travelling. I also love photography, and in June 2009 I decided to take a year off work to travel the globe. This blog recounts that trip. I left London on the 14th June 2009. My trip divided roughly into four legs. The first is in Africa, from Kenya to South Africa, starting in June and finishing at the end of September. I then flew to Mumbai, for a three month trip through Central Asia taking in India, Nepal and Tibet.
