I like to travel. I like to see new places. I love people. i like to laugh alot and hear good funny stuff. I like old cars and rock et roll and the Buddah Bar music.
Well folks its been awhile since i did any blogging or bragging about trips. Were back in India again for a Northern tour on our own . 10 days left the month we we have been here. I think this will be our last tour of India. we are pretty tired of less then 4 stars lodging and the dust and dirt that surrounds us where ever you go. Still every one here is very friendly and helpful and kind except for the touts and hustlers. India has changed since the 80ties and even four years ago. NYC Bonnet Parade. Every Easter day the city closes 47TH st. to 58th street on 5th ave. From 10AM to 4PM. People come out in decorated hats for spring. It's not organised so you can wear what you want and parade around. It's fun for the kids and dogs and all the family. It was the first time I went. ... read more
Paris. Before going to Venice and after Venice me et brigitte walked thru all the passages of Paris. The passages are full of nice boutiques. Lovely little cafes to take a little dinner and snacks, teas and coffee's and cakes. Shop for nice souviners. Nice toy stores in the passages. you can never get bored walking about Paris. There is always something to stop you that says" stop and look at me". Paris has the most beautifull windows for window shopping. Just wonder around with no direction and beauty is right in front of you. it may be a beautifull cake it may be a pair of socks it could be a basket of cherries but what ever may be you will see beauty within thee... Feb. 26 went to Paris. met my friend Brigitte. we quickly set out to Pirre Marche on Monmontre area to buy fabric for a costume we would make in Venice for the carnival. Her pen pal Wilma was making the costumes for carnival. Wilma designed them and cut them and sewed them. It was amazing how we worked for a day 1/2 to put one costume together. Then Wilma's pen pal from Iceland came and put another costume toghter for her. We were 10 women all together from different parts of world. we were a rainbow of colors. December me and my husband went to Cancun and Tulum. We had a great time. It's so easy to get around and see the sights from Tulum. There are many options to getting around. Do not be afraid to go. Everywhere the people are happy and happy to see you. English is widely spoken. This trip we stayed at Hotel Latino in Tulum. A little hotel off the main street. Fairly quite. Nice rooms and the nicest people running the hotel. I look forward to going there again. The Tulum beach is very nice with lots of places to stay along the beach.Between town and the beaches is a big walk or take the local bus that goes there two times in morning and a bus that returns to town at 5PM. I do not think they found a cure that week end but all the funds raised are going to help find a cure and help many many women and men . Thanks to all that helped and donated and donated thier time. The walk started on October 16th at 7AM. 26 miles first day. It started at peir 84.
