last year, after another slightly disappointing birthday, (the planned events were cancelled due to the wonderful british weather! And only slightly as I happen to have a wonderful group of supportive friends and family) I came to the conclusion that it was time to leave the damp and slightly grey British Isles for a warmer climate and awesome amounts of adventure. Now 15 months down the line, the itinery has been planed and paid for and I am about to set off on an adventure of a lifetime.
I fly to Bangkok and spend 4 days there, with a day caring for elephants and another exploring the temples and rivers, and 2 spare for exploring before heading to Darwin, Australia. from Darwin I head down to Adelaide, via the Devils Marbles, Alice Springs, Uluru and Coober Perdy. From Adelaide I fly to Cairns before heading along the coast all the way to Sydney. The Next stop is New Zeland, where i have bus tickets to travel all of both islands as well as some planned activites. I then head back to Oz (Sydney) and continue along the coast, when I reach Melbourne I hop over to Tasmania, for a quick tour round the picturesque Island. Back to Melbourne and I explore the Great Ocean Road on the way to Adelaide. From there I fly to Perth, and explore the coast up to Broome, before exploring the southern coast round to Esperance.
This is as far as the Itinery has gotten so far, taking 7 months to reach this point. Hopefully I will find some work in New Zealand and then take sometime to plan the next stage with thte added funds from working! The plan is to hopefully fly back to New Zealand from Perth for more traveling/working and then heading to Hong Kong around March 2016, for a tour round China.
