Having just arrived back from Tasmania, I dropped my bag into storage and headed into town for an explore. last year, after another slightly disappointing birthday, (the planned events were cancelled due to the wonderful british weather! And only slightly as I happen to have a wonderful group of supportive friends and family) I came to the conclusion that it was time to leave the damp and slightly grey British Isles for a warmer climate and awesome amounts of adventure.
