I had a couple of days in Sydney, but had already done most of the highlights, so I went for a wander through the botanical gardens. Walked up to the Sydney Opera house, even touched the ceramic tiles that form the famous sails. last year, after another slightly disappointing birthday, (the planned events were cancelled due to the wonderful british weather! And only slightly as I happen to have a wonderful group of supportive friends and family) I came to the conclusion that it was time to leave the damp and slightly grey British Isles for a warmer climate and awesome amounts of adventure.
